CONTACT LENSES
The first thing you need to know after deciding to get contact lenses is what type of lens is most suitable for you.
During a contact lens assessment, our experienced optometrist will give you a complete eye examination to check your vision and eye health, and then determine the kind of lenses that will be right for you.
WHAT TYPE OF CONTACT LENS IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
With recent advances in lens technology, most people are able to use contact lenses safely and comfortably.
There are many types of contact lenses and we offer a broad range designed for different kinds of eyes and different kinds of use.
If you have a high prescription, bifocal or multifocal vision, or astigmatism, we offer lenses expertly designed to suit each of these conditions.
You also have your choice of daily, monthly or extended wear lenses.
These are all options that you can discuss with your optometrist to ensure that you get lenses to suit your eyes and lifestyle.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR CONTACT LENSES
We also offer comprehensive aftercare to ensure that you manage to adjust to your contact lenses and to provide you with advice and support.
During aftercare appointments, we will reassess your vision to check that your prescription is still correct and examine the health of your eyes.
You may also wish to ask for advice or discuss any difficulties you are having with your lenses – our optometrists always take the time to talk to you and offer their recommendations, so don’t hesitate to ask.
